James Ackborn is not the real name of the author of the Kalusta series. It is an alias, and behind the name lies a European personality with extensive experience in international business and in the world of politics, news, justice and security services.

 

Based on this experience, Ackborn decided in 2018 to write a book, which formed the basis for the first part of Kalusta: Chaos. Like all new authors, Ackborn made the rounds of publishers to get his work published. Despite many enthusiastic responses, no publisher dared to take the final step, partly due to the controversial content of the book. 

 

James is happily married and lives with his wife in a small town somewhere in Western Europe, where he leads a relatively anonymous life – something he would like to keep that way. He enjoys the good things in life, travels a lot and finds inspiration for further books. The second part of Kalusta is now well advanced as a manuscript and is scheduled for publication around March 2026. The third and final part will follow in early 2027.
